Riitta Katila receives McCombs PhD Distinguished Alumnus Award
The award celebrates accomplished PhD alums from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
Congratulations to MS&E Professor Riitta Katila for receiving the McCombs PhD Distinguished Alumnus Award!
The award from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin recognizes accomplished PhD alums. Prof. Katila received her PhD in Strategy from McCombs in 2000, where she was advised by Gautam Ahuja. Now, her research focuses on innovation, competition, and entrepreneurship.
In addition to a career of notable accomplishments, Prof. Katila was recently elected as a Fellow of both the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management.
