MS&E Student Research

Our students perform research that has real-world impact, from Silicon Valley, to academia, to the world at large.

Each year, MS&E seniors complete a capstone project by acting as consulting teams to various sponsor organizations, solving real-world problems in a condensed, 10-week session. Undergraduates from across Stanford perform research as part of the Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. And our graduate students study wide-ranging problems in optimization, entrepreneurship, policy, and more.
