Riitta Katila named W.M. Keck Professor
The professorship, made possible from a bequest by W.M. Keck, Sr., recognizes a School of Engineering faculty member for outstanding leadership and scholarship.
MS&E Professor Riitta Katila has been appointed the next W.M. Keck Professor in the School of Engineering in recognition of her outstanding leadership and scholarship.
Prof. Katila is a professor of Management Science and Engineering and research director of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Her research spans the areas of technology strategy and organizational learning, and utilizes machine learning, statistical analysis, and mixed methods. She is an expert on innovation, competition, and entrepreneurship in large firms, and her current research centers on responsible and inclusive innovation initiatives.
