Academic and work experience

Prior to joining MS&E, I studied operations research at Columbia University, where I designed a matching algorithm for course assistant assignments within the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) department. During my undergraduate, I interned at Microsoft Research and developed optimization algorithms for scheduling and provisioning cloud services. These experiences have fueled my passion for optimization research, motivating my pursuit of a PhD in MS&E.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

In the long term, I look forward to designing novel algorithms in optimization research and bridging the gap between theoretical optimization and practical problem-solving in the real world.

Interests and hobbies

Board games, post-rock, and anime.
