Academic and work experience
Before MS&E, I completed my undergraduate studies at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, where I also worked as a research assistant. My research began with solving practical problems using mathematical programming, and later expanded to analyzing the complexity of optimization algorithms. I am pursuing a PhD in MS&E because of its emphasis on both theoretical rigor and real-world impact.
Impact I hope to have in my field and the world
The real world is composed of many interconnected and complex systems. Through a PhD in MS&E, I hope to develop mathematical models and optimization algorithms to analyze these systems and improve their performance, ultimately creating practical and efficient solutions.
Interests and hobbies
I enjoy practicing yoga, reading novels, and writing posts.
