I have had a diverse range of experiences working in academic labs, industry and international organizations, all of which have led me to think more deeply about the impact of technology on society. While work during my undergraduate degree allowed me to focus on how technology platforms can act as a means of inclusion and improving public service delivery, my master's research in Technology and Policy gave me the opportunity to focus on ways of addressing the harms associated with digital technologies. At MS&E, I hope to carry out research that uncovers when and how private and public institutions should regulate digital technologies and platforms.
Desired post-MS&E impact
I am interested in examining the role of digital platforms in enabling entrepreneurship and creating shared prosperity.
Interests and hobbies
I enjoy traveling, hiking and kayaking.
