Academic and work experience

I have always had a passion for studying abstract mechanisms, and leading the phenomena around us to create more powerful tools for real-world applications. With this idea in mind and a solid background in mathematics and problem-solving from Olympiad training, I decided to pursue a B.Sc. in computer engineering. During my undergrad, I was fortunate enough to obtain some hands-on experiences as a research intern at Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Austria and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. I worked on distributed/federated learning, deep learning theory, and reasoning in neural networks.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

Currently, I am excited to unlock the full potential of AI in real-world applications. Here at MS&E, I have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad spectrum of experts in theory and industry to pursue this goal.

Interests and hobbies

I love hanging out with my friends! Watching movies, traveling, and playing table tennis are my favorite hobbies. Besides these, I'm a big fan of indoor/outdoor exercise and running. I also have a unique interest in playing and composing hang drum music.
