RESEARCH THEMES MY WORK REPRESENTS
The Future of Organizing
Academic and work experience
Before joining Stanford, I was a predoctoral Research Fellow at Microsoft Research Lab India, working on AI for healthcare. I am excited about the MS&E PhD program because it lets me leverage my background in human-computer interaction through examining the broader organizational contexts where human-technology collaboration takes place. I am interested in the impact of modern technologies, especially AI, on the ways in which we organize work.
Impact I hope to have in my field and the world
I want my research to examine how organizations shape the design and use of technologies like AI, and how these choices influence the future of work. I hope to identify ways to guide technology production and adoption to make work more meaningful and effective for individuals and organizations.
Beyond research, I care about mentorship. I have been lucky to have fantastic mentors, and I want to pay that forward. Please feel free to email me if you have questions about pursuing a PhD, applications, research, design, or anything else I might be able to help with.
Interests and hobbies
I love hiking, climbing trees, gardening, and generally being outdoors. I also enjoy reading, cryptic crosswords, and jigsaw puzzles. Whenever I can, I like to work on craft projects.
