Academic and work experience

Before starting my PhD, I was a Research Fellow at Stanford's Sustainable Finance Initiative, where I focused on climate risk management. Specifically, I worked on transition pathways and their implications for financial institutions and companies. Other research topics included carbon markets and the design of insurance markets to manage physical climate risks.

Previously, I held research positions at the World Bank, the Peterson Institute for International Economics, UC Berkeley and MIT Sloan. I worked on the following topics: the macroeconomic implications of global value chains, fiscal policy and debt sustainability, the evolution of sovereign wealth funds, the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models to analyze International Monetary Fund (IMF) programs, and the impact of credit booms on financial stability.

I received my master's degree in economics from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE, and graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

During my PhD program, I hope to develop statistical and machine learning tools to inform the financial sector about climate risks and support the financial sector’s role as a catalyzer of the climate transition to ensure a sustainable future.

Interests and hobbies

I am passionate about art history, music, and love playing the guitar. I'm also a sports enthusiast and enjoy biking, running, hiking, and playing soccer.
