RESEARCH THEMES MY WORK REPRESENTS
AI & Data Science

Academic and work experience

My undergraduate research focus on optimization and machine learning theory. Fascinated by Reinforcement Learning (RL) theory, I studied the minimal requirement of a dataset that permits solving offline multi-agent RL problems. Apart from the theory work, I also developed a derivative-free solver for general nonlinear programming. Accumulated research experiences allowed me to explore different fields of machine learning and optimization. MS&E provides unique chances for me to collaborate with researchers from interdisciplinary fields and achieve my research goal.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

While the machine learning landscape boasts a growing number of efficient algorithms, a notable gap exists in foundational theories, limiting widespread application. My research focuses on developing both theoretically sound and efficient machine learning algorithms to address real-world challenges, aiming to bolster the field's practical applications and overall robustness.

Interests and hobbies

Tennis, traveling, reading novels.
