Academic and work experience

Prior to MS&E, I was an undergraduate student at Tsinghua University majoring computer science and finance. During that time, I gained invaluable research experience in statistical learning theory and its application to data-driven decision-making, which deepened my understanding of how AI and data science can drive scientific research to address societal challenges. My passion for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of mathematics, AI, and economics has led me to believe that MS&E is the ideal place for me.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

I am deeply passionate about research centered around data-driven decision-making within complex societal systems. In future studies, my aspiration is to delve deeper into understanding and optimizing societal and industrial decisions through a rigorous mathematical and computational lens. My primary goal is to unravel the intricacies of individual behavior and its systemic impacts, seeking empirical insights to create better systems and developing theoretical frameworks to optimize group decision-making.

Interests and hobbies

Violin, musicals, pop singing, table tennis, badminton, and jogging.
