Academic and work experience

Before joining MS&E, I was an undergraduate student at Brown University, majoring in pure and applied mathematics. My undergraduate research lies in the intersection of probability theory, numerical analysis, and optimization. I am excited to see how different fields interact with each other, construct an applied problem from it, and then design algorithms for the solutions. Pursuing a PhD in MS&E will set me up with the tools I need to conduct interdisciplinary research.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

I hope to utilize probabilistic and statistical techniques to solve challenges in areas including, but not limited to, machine learning, control theory, simulations, and finance.

Interests and hobbies

Soccer, cooking, traveling, and video games.
