Academic and work experience

Prior to Stanford, I worked in the financial industry for two years conducting alpha signal research for systematic equities and macro strategies. While I learned a great deal during this time, I also encountered many new questions that sparked my curiosity. This motivated me to continue my work in quantitative finance in academia, where I can focus more on the theoretical aspects of these problems and learn from exchanges with experts across disciplines.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

I'm interested in exploring how cutting-edge quantitative techniques can be applied in the investment management industry, particularly in areas like alpha signal generation, portfolio optimization, and trading. In the long run, my goal is to help democratize access to high-quality investment products.

Interests and hobbies

I'm passionate about going to the movies, visiting museums, and spending time in nature. I enjoy working out and trying new sports with friends. I also love exploring new restaurants and experimenting with pasta sauces at home.
