RESEARCH THEMES MY WORK REPRESENTS
The Future of Organizing
Academic and work experience
My work as a digital product manager helped me understand the far-reaching implications emerging technologies can have on what work in the future will look like. As I finished my MBA, I realized my experiences enabled me to pinpoint existing research gaps and make substantial contributions to academia. This drove my decision to pursue a PhD at MS&E, as this program uniquely presents an opportunity to explore and innovate within the ever-evolving technological landscape, building upon the foundation of my practical experience.
Impact I hope to have in my field and the world
In the face of a constantly evolving technological landscape, my hope for my PhD research is that it will offer valuable insights to organizations on how they can foster equitable access to opportunities and resources while they adapt to these shifts. After completing my PhD in MS&E, my goal is to continue this line of research, advancing our knowledge in this space.
Interests and hobbies
Outside of my academic interests, I’m an active member in my church, I karaoke when I can, I enjoy outdoor activities like biking, climbing, camping, and kayaking, and I love making food and cocktails with/for friends. I’m generally extroverted, so I enjoy most things that give me an opportunity to meet new people or spend time with friends.
