Academic and work experience

Before joining Stanford, I spent a few years at IISc Bangalore and Microsoft Research, focusing on the theoretical foundations of machine learning, fairness, and causality. Earlier in my career, I applied data science to large-scale trade data while working at Goldman Sachs. Pursuing a PhD at Stanford provides an ideal opportunity to integrate these diverse experiences and develop principled approaches to solving real-world challenges.

Impact I hope to have in my field and the world

I hope to contribute to the theoretical understanding of algorithms that offer valuable real-world applications. Ultimately, I aspire to work on problems in operations research and computer science that are both intellectually engaging and have a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Interests and hobbies

Music, badminton, traveling, hiking.
