Pre-MS&E experience

I recently graduated from Princeton where I majored in Computer Science with a minor in Global Health Policy. I learned about faults in the healthcare system that could be improved with more optimal policy. I have published a paper on predicting staffing in a pediatric outpatient setting and wrote my undergraduate thesis on games induced by the risk transfer program of the Affordable Care Act. I decided to pursue a PhD in MS&E because of the support and mentorship from leading faculty at the intersection of OR and Health Policy.

Desired post-MS&E impact

Cost effective analysis can play a role in improving both access to and outcomes of healthcare. Through my PhD in MS&E, I hope to narrow down on an area and methodology where I can have impact in changing health systems to become more efficient.

Interests and hobbies

I love yoga, swimming, and running. I also love going to museums and learning about art history.
