Pre-MS&E experience

As an undergraduate student at Cornell, I was introduced to and fascinated by the field of probability. Therefore, motivated by curiosity, I participated in 2 research projects on applied probability. Convinced by the great explanatory power of randomness in modeling social and natural phenomena and utility in devising better operation strategies, I am eager to join the effort of exploring properties of stochastic objects and researching their manifestation in operations research studies. MS&E is home to several highly respected faculty members whose research interests match closely with my own.

Desired post-MS&E impact

Given my inclination and curiosity to research in the field of applied probability, if possible, I intend to continue my academic journey after my PhD in MS&E. Hopefully, my research can provide the field with new insights into either theory or application.

Interests and hobbies

I am interested in origami and traveling. I enjoy casual cycling and hiking. Currently, I am developing a hobby in cooking.
