Shi Dong awarded INFORMS Nicholson Prize
The annual award honors outstanding papers in the field of operations research and the management sciences written by a student.
Congratulations to Shi Dong, who won the 2021 INFORMS George Nicholson Student Paper Competition!
Dong is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering and PhD minor in MS&E, and is advised by MS&E Prof. Ben Van Roy. His winning paper is titled "Efficient Reinforcement Learning in a Complex Environment." Related publications are posted on Dong's website
