Pamela Hinds named Rodney H. Adams Professor

MS&E Professor Pamela Hinds has been appointed the next Rodney H. Adams Professor in the School of Engineering.
Professor Hinds is an expert on the effect of technology on teams, collaboration, and innovation. She studies the impact of modern trends in the workplace, including human-robot interaction, 3D printing, and large-data analytics. Prof. Hinds is co-director of the Center for Work, Technology, and Organization, serves on the Director’s Council for the d.school, and is a faculty affiliate of the Stanford Institute for Human-Computer Interaction (HAI).
In addition to her scholarship, Prof. Hinds serves as faculty director for the School of Engineering's Global Engineering Programs and she is a member of the Bing Overseas Studies Program faculty executive committee.
