Margaret Brandeau, Michael Fairley receive Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Registry Paper of the Year Award

The award recognizes Fairley, Prof. Brandeau, and collaborators from Stanford Medical School and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.

Congratulations to Michael Fairley (PhD '21) and Prof. Margaret Brandeau!

The co-authors, along with collaborators from Stanford Medical School and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, received the Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Registry Paper of the Year Award from the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health (CEVR) at Tufts Medical Center.

Their winning paper, titled Cost-effectiveness of Treatments for Opioid Use Disorder, was selected for the award based on methodological quality, timeliness and importance of the topic, and potential influence of the study’s findings on decision making.
