Work and/or academic experiences

As a bioengineering student, I was inspired by the elective courses I took in MS&E on health policy modeling and healthcare operations management, which convinced me to switch from a career in biomedical devices to management consulting. After a 3-year stint advising hospital systems, payors and non-profits, I am thrilled to return to Stanford to pursue research focused on the cost-effective delivery of healthcare.

Impact to make in your field and the world

In the future, I hope to contribute to knowledge and tools which enable healthcare institutions to do more with their limited resources. I am especially eager to collaborate with the Systems Utilization Research for Stanford Medicine (SURF Stanford Medicine) group, and I aspire to pursue similar work in an academic medical center.

Interests and hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cooking, hiking, soccer and learning as much as I can about ancient history.
