Work and academic experiences

Through internships and projects with organizations like the Post-Landfill Action Network, ReNew Power, Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems and the Netherlands Institute for Space Research, I have been exploring problems and solutions in energy and environment: from zero waste to renewable energy and building energy systems to tracking down methane emission sources with satellites. I think of my PhD in MS&E along the Energy & Environment track as one in learning how to manage and coordinate the implementation of climate solutions.

Impact you hope to have in your field and the world

My mission is to advance and accelerate the implementation of socially perceptive and scientifically rigorous climate solutions at local and global levels. I seek to co-create a fossil-fuel-free future.

Interests and hobbies

I love to play the violin and improvise with fellow musicians, bake and share ginger cookies, and be outdoors with friends and family: hiking, biking, swimming, and running!
