Program Overview

The Department of Management Science and Engineering offers a wide variety of professional education opportunities that are offered in conjunction with our Stanford partner, the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD). Our faculty offer valuable content in the areas of innovation, decision and risk analysis, organizations/technology/entrepreneurship, and finance.  The Non-Degree Option (NDO) makes it possible for qualified working professionals to enroll in Stanford graduate-level classes offered online on a course-by-course basis. 

Below are the NDO Certificates that are available.

Graduate Certificates Graduate certificates are specially designed for students in industry. Tailor your education to advance your career and get all the advantages of a Stanford University credential. Graduate certificates from the Department of Management Science and Engineering may be obtained by completing four specified courses.
Professional Courses and Certificates Short, focused self-paced courses that give you tools and techniques you can apply right away.

Certificates include: Advanced Project Management, Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Stanford Quantitative Finance, Strategic Decision and Risk Management, and Innovation at Work Program.
Corporate Education Delivered online, at Stanford, at company work sites, and at international locations, our programs are designed to provide education opportunities that will yield immediate results.
