The Department of Management Science and Engineering offers a wide variety of online professional education opportunities that are offered in conjunction with the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD, a part of VPTL). Our faculty offer valuable content in the areas of innovation; decision and risk analysis; organizations, technology, and entrepreneurship; and finance.
The Non-Degree Option (NDO) makes it possible for qualified working professionals to enroll in Stanford graduate-level classes on a course-by-course basis before being admitted to a degree program. NDO students apply each quarter to take individual courses, work toward a graduate certificate, or take up to 15 course units that may later count toward a master's degree (if the student applies and is admitted to the MS program).
NDO Certificates currently offered in Management Science and Engineering include:
Delivered online, at Stanford, at company work sites, and at international locations, our programs are designed to provide education opportunities that will yield immediate results.
Students may also complete the MS in Management Science and Engineering degree online via the part-time Honors Cooperative Program (HCP).
